The Ivy Chelsea Garden

The Ivy Market Grill in Covent Garden opened in November of 2014, setting the stage for the follow-up launch of the British restaurant’s second satellite location, the Ivy Chelsea Garden on King’s Road. Led by Executive Chef Sean Burbidge, the Ivy Chelsea Garden on King’s Road offers patrons an all-day menu of food and cocktails.

The décor is everything you’d expect from London’s original celebrity hang-out spot: High-back leather booth seating, ornate fixtures, fine china, and well-placed hints of color make guests feel as though they’re dining in high-class sophistication on a manageable budget. Outside the restaurant and bar stands a beautifully arranged and ornate garden, terrace, and orangery.

The Telegraph hailed the Ivy Garden as the “perfect place for al-fresco brunch”, noting its quickly become known for its spicy Bloody Mary cocktail, Chicken Milanese served fried and black truffle dish.

Reservations aren’t required, but with only half of the restaurant’s seating options kept open for walk-in guests, it can get very busy, and very crowded, very quickly. Brunch is served on Saturdays (8 until 4pm) and Sundays (9 until 4pm); the all-day menu is available Monday through Friday; and afternoon tea is served between the hours of 3 and 5pm.
