The Gilbert Scott

Inspired by the depth of history, Britain-based restaurant, The Gilbert Scott, serves a hearty menu dipped in British favorites. The brasserie-like setting offers guests a sense of grandeur set in an informal, casual space. The restaurant’s namesake, Sir George Gilbert Scott, is as present today in the space as he was in the building’s inception. A private dining room, leading off of the eatery’s broad, welcoming bar, seats larger parties while the Kitchen Table, located at the “helm of the engine room”, offers a sneak peek of the kitchen.

The well-fed menu includes the Homemade Falafels made with pickled carrot, fennel salad, cumin and lemon yogurt, a Lake District Rib or Beef large enough for two and a Rack of Herdwich Lamb served with broccoli, marjoram and Berkswell.

The Gilbert Scott is open seven days a week: on Monday through Friday for lunch from 12 until 3pm and again for dinner from 5:30 until 11pm; on Saturdays from 10am until 11pm and on Sundays from 10am until 10pm. The bar is open daily from 10am until close.
