Mandarin Hotel

A seamless fusion of classic Oriental luxury to flawless Milanese design, the Mandarin Hotel in Milan has become one of Milan’s most talked-about hotels, located smack in the heart of the romantic, fashionable city. Tucked into four 18th century buildings just steps away from La Scala, Via Montenapoleone, and Via della Spiga, the hotel, much like its design, blends together old and new, comfort and luxury, fashion and relaxation.

The five-start luxury hotel boasts 104 rooms – 72 rooms and 32 suites – all designed by acclaimed Italian designer Antonia Citterio. Each room is a fusion of modern Italian décor accented by thoughtful Asian-inspired accessories. Color is minimal yet purposeful, with pops of deep purple and soft blues intended to stand out against the neutral, calming interiors. Texture in each room is also deliberate: velvet fabrics hint at the old-world romantic elegance of Italy.

You can dine at the Seta, helmed by chef Antonio Guida. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Seta offers a new flair to Italian staples, each dish more colorful than the one that came before it. The Mandarin Bar serves bistro fare against a black-and-white art deco-inspired space. The Bar is known as the “beating heart” of the hotel, with contemporary music, bespoke cocktails, and delicious light fare for a casual night.
