Filson Flagship Store
Just steps away from Starbucks headquarters in Seattle, Washington’s SoDo neighborhood sits the stunning new Filson flagship store. Bordering the trendy Pioneer Square, SoDo (South of downtown) is where UPS and the coffee giant both got their starts — so if there’s ever a desire to be surrounded by good juju, Filson has it in spades. Since its inception 118 years ago, Filson has forever called Seattle home, and its reprisal of the famed SoDo neighborhood not only feels fitting; it feels like fate.
According to Gear Patrol, the new flagship store comprises of “6,400 square feet of cultural legal, rife with up-cycled local lumber and the largest selection of Filson products in the world.” Large windows overlook the company’s bag, accessories, and luggage factory, and the store sits on the ground floor of Filson’s corporate headquarters. Not without its fair share of eye candy, the new Filson flagship even boasts a totem pole at its center that celebrates the heritage and commitment to unique craftsmanship.
On the company site, Filson marked the announcement by saying, “We have opened a new flagship store in the same building where we develop, sample, cut and sew our unfailing goods. Located blocks from our previous SoDo store, the new 6,000 square-foot flagship features limited-edition items not available anywhere else.”
The store is open daily: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 12 until 5 p.m. Holiday hours are in effect and can be found online.
