The third annual Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala will take place in St. Tropez, France on Wednesday, July 20. This year’s gala will focus on raising funds to support environmental awareness efforts and research for climate change, conservation, and preservation grants all across the globe. Last year’s gala raised more than $40 million to protect what the foundation has called “the Earth’s last wild places.” They also raised enough to help implement solutions to preserve and save the environment. In his speech, DiCaprio said that “by focusing on protecting these critically-endangered iconic species is almost like setting up a worldwide network of Noah’s arks.”

This years invitees include Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, Robert De Niro, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Spacey, Charlize Theron, Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, and dozens more. According to PEOPLE, Lana del Rey, The Weeknd, and a special guest appearance by Andrea Bocelli. Since the foundation’s establishment in 1998, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation (LDF) has been fully committed to protecting the world’s most endangered places by helping create and implement solutions to restore balance and promote the long-term health of all of nature’s inhabitants.

Currently, the LDF supports more than 70 projects in 40 different countries.
