Owning a Rolex is a rite of passage granted to few – but touring the luxury watchmakers’ facilities is an even greater rite of passage, awarded to an even cozier number. But in March, Hodinkee toured not just one of the great watchmaker’s facilities, but all four.

The four-day experience, writes author Benjamin Clymer, challenged nearly every stereotype – both positive and negative – that the brand has experienced over the years. Clymer writes, “I had many ideas of what I would see, and while some were accurate, others could not have been further from the truth.”
