The Conrad Bora Bora Nui

In March of 2017, Conrad Hotels & Resorts will open the stunning Conrad Bora Bora Nui where the now-defunct remains of the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa once stood. The 114-key resort, which sits on top of Motu To’opua, an inlet island off the coast of Bora Bora about 20 minutes from Bora Bora airport by boat, will feature 28 tropical garden and beach villas, 86 overwater bungalows, and the destination’s only two-story overwater Presidential Suites, Robb Report noted. The resort will also boast a range of cuisines inspired by French brasseries, a contemporary Chinese restaurant, a swim-up pool bar, a specialty beach restaurant serving Polynesian and Mediterranean cuisines, and an overwater sunset bar and lounge, which will serve mid-afternoon tea service, after-dinner digestives, and light fare.

In a press release surrounding the news of the upcoming resort, Robert Scullin, vice president development, Australasia, Hilton Worldwide, said: “We are pleased to be expanding our brand portfolio in the French Polynesia region, where we established our presence in 2009. This agreement underscores our strong commitment to this key market, which has demonstrated its resilience and its enduring appeal to travelers around the world.” Bora Bora Nui will also feature a full-service spa, including eight treatment rooms as well as one al fresco deck with stunning views of the lagoon below; a mini-golf course; a Kids Club; fitness center; retail spaces; 100 square meters of indoor meeting space; and its own private islet for private events.

John Vandersliece, global head of Conrad Hotels & Resorts, noted, “Guests of Conrad Bora Bora Nui can look forward to our inspired experiences, which will marry Tahitian culture and charm with Conrad’s intuitive, discrete, and seamless service.” The resort is slated to open in March 2017.
