
The Chester, An American Eatery & Bar coming to New York’s Gansevoort Hotel
Set to begin taking reservations on September 19th, The Chester is already garnering serious buzz, and will undoubtedly be right at the top of the list of new openings to frequent this fall. Located inside the Gansevoort Meatpacking, The Chester will anchor the food service for the hotel, from the restaurant with copious indoor and outdoor seating, to 24/7 room service for hotel guests, as well as supplying the rooftop lounge Plunge. Executive chef Sam Hazen, most recognized for his outstanding previous work at Veritas, has developed a menu based on traditional brasserie offerings, and will direct daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner seatings, and of course brunch on the weekends. Modern sophistication is the watchword throughout, from a management team well attuned to the high expectations of NYC patrons.
