Singapore Air’s Unveils New First-class Fleet
Singapore Airlines has just unveiled its new first-class suites, soon to be fitted onto its A380 fleet. Literally the height of luxury, these upmarket boltholes come complete with fully flat beds, personal wardrobes, mood lighting and 32-inch screens.
The new Singapore Airlines A380 fleet cost $850 million to upgrade and will have 471 seats altogether across four classes: six Suites, 78 Business Class seats, 44 Premium Economy Class seats and 343 Economy seats — each with individual AC and USB sockets for keeping devices charges, as well as 18-inch HD screens for entertainment.
Round-trip flights from London to Sydney will set passengers back at least £9,500.
