Meet the Rosegold Lambda by Nomos Glashütte

The luxury watchmakers, Nomos Glashütte, have unveiled their latest timepiece: an 18-carrot rose gold Lambda. Inspired by the Greek alphabet, Lambda also stands as a mathematical symbol known for its “intrinsic values”, which the watchmakers have taken to internalized to represent their most recent creation.

Made from the finest quality, the Lambda hangs from a Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan, a hand sewn and rembordé solid gold buckle. The watch’s dial, under the elegantly carved sapphire crystal, is housed in a delicate gold ring. Sold in both white and rose gold, two mainspring barrels transmit their power to the DUW 1001 movement, powering the watch for upwards of three and a half days before the power reserve indicator reduces to zero.

The $18,500 watch even has its own website, packed with information, pricing and an in-depth analysis that follows the watch from conception to creation. The Lambda, to NOMOS, is a work of art, and rightfully so, is treated as such. Made from the finest craftsmanship, sapphire crystal, 18-carat rose gold, white gold and sliver, it is the epitome of perfection.
