The Culpeper

East London’s Culpeper Pub is reinventing the traditional take on pub fare. The corner shop features a stunning rooftop garden farm. Fresh herbs and vegetables are picked daily from The Culpeper’s garden and featured in the pub’s stellar standout dishes. The Culpeper announced they’d be opening up a small cooking facility, bar and greenhouse to the public in late summer 2015.

Spanning over three floors, the ground floor pub space shows off the location’s best assets: The Culpeper’s historic space and the blossoming drink list. Rich, dark hardwood, exposed brick, industrial seating, and intimate lighting add character to the aged building.

The first floor features the kitchen and is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 until 10:30 pm. It boasts a thoughtful and simple seasonal menu full of starters, mains, and desserts.

In late spring 2015, The Culpeper will offer bookings for five sweeping, sprawling bedrooms.
