Shoreditch House

The Shoreditch House has taken up residency in a converted East London warehouse. The three-story hotel houses several bars, a restaurant, barber, parlor, rooftop heated pool that’s open year-round, private changing rooms, showers and lush gardens, a gym and tiny and small bedrooms. A retractable roof offers sprawling views of East London and Canary Wharf while outdoor seating and open fire pits offer a cool, calming and tranquil relaxing environment for guests to enjoy all four season.

On the first floor, the original Shoreditch House stands as a place for guests to work, meet and rejuvenate. Tons of tables, sofas and antique chairs take up the space, giving the House an impressive coffeehouse feel, where you can relax and recline. The fifth floor boasts Shoreditch’s impressive restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, a late-night menu, afternoon tea, Sunday roast and dessert as well as Curry Tuesdays, Juices and Library cocktails.

Tiny and small bedrooms are intimate and cozy, ranging from 161-170 square feet of space and neutral tones spread across the floors, furniture and bedding. Egyptian cotton, school desks, rain forest showers and subway-tilted bathrooms offer just a glimpse of the delicate attention to detail paid to the design and styling of each space. Reservations for individual rooms can be made online.

Not surprisingly, Shoreditch House is everything it says it is: Beautifully modern and wonderfully vintage.
