On The Dak
London’s latest “street food” offerings, On The Dak and Koba, are both now open for business. From the well known restauranteur and chef Linda Lee, the culinary focus is Korean, and the emphasis is on chicken prepared in a variety of ways — each dish more delicious than the last.
While Koba was originally opened more than 11 years ago in Fitzrovia, Linda Lee undertook a full renewal of the restaurant, relaunching Koba recently on Rathbone Place. Regulars and newcomers alike are bound to enjoy the new space, and of course, the Korean style barbecue for which it originally rose to prominence.
And now, Lee is opening her seventh London restaurant, On The Dak. Dak translates to chicken in Korean, and the all-day menu demonstrates Lee’s expertise and creativity with the versatile bird. Korean fried chicken, chicken with noodles, chicken soup are but a few of the choices, and all available to eat in or take away.
