Mondrian London

Tucked along the banks of the River Thames in the infamous Sea Containers building, the Mondrian London offers guests eager for a getaway a uniquely London experience: sweeping river views, style and sophistication, a touch of London past and present. Designed by the Design Research Studio under the direction of Tom Dixon, the Mondrian London captures the essence of the original 1920s Sea Containers building while weaving in the sophistication of the modern era.

Eleven different types of rooms are available for booking at The Mondrian. Rooms designed by Tom Dixon infused contemporary design and functionality throughout each of the rooms at The Mondrian London. As its site notes, Dixon created “an atmosphere that embodies the elegance of a transatlantic 1920s liner with a healthy dose of 1980s post-modernism reference.” Custom-designed dimmable lighting, bespoke furniture, marble bathrooms and MALIN+GOETZ amenities provide a stunning space to take in the sprawling London scene below.

Eatery options include locally sourced Sea Containers restaurant, which also boasts outdoor seating along the river; the Rumpus Bar, which features a glass-like structure, outdoor terrace and panoramic views of London below; the Den, where guests are encouraged to relax and enjoy teas and beverages; and the Dandelyan, a bar created by Ryan Chetiyawardana that features incredible and innovative cocktails infused with unique tonics and flavors.
