The brainchild of one of the finest Italian chefs ever to set foot in the UK, Locanda Locatelli is London’s premiere location for traditional Italian dishes. Emphasizing quality, freshness and creativity, chef Giorgio Locatelli has helped establish the restaurant as the perfect balance between intimacy and romance as well as a family-friendly space, winning a Michelin star for its ability to tactfully combine the two.

Traditional favorites like the Risotto all Amarone Della Vaolpolicella e radicchio (a amarone and radicchio risotto) , the Filetto di Branzino in Crosta di Erbe e Sale (a fillet of wild sea bass baked in an herbed and salted crust) and the Scamone di Manzo Scozzese, Cavolo Nero e Pastinaca (a slow-cooked rump fillet of Scottish beef, black cabbage and parsnips) are the eatery’s bestsellers. But it’s the savory Selezione di Formaggi e Mieli Italiani (a selection of Italian cheeses served with Italian honey) that guests truly can’t get enough of.

Reservations can only be made via telephone at 020 7935 9088 between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Open seven days a week, the Italian locale hosts the following lunch and dinner hours: Monday through Friday from 12 until 3pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 12 until 3:30pm.

The restaurant is open Monday to Thursday for dinner from 6:45 until 11pm; on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:45 until 11:30pm and on Sundays from 6:45 until 10:15pm.
