Katana

The Hollywood hotspot, frequented by actors, musicians and actresses alike, is known as the “Sexiest Spot on Sunset Strip.” Responsible for introducing the robatayaki style of Japanese comfort cuisine to LA, Katana features a stunning display of robata-style skewers, a grand sushi bar, specialty hot and cold dishes and Japanese-inspired tapas. Though there is an extensive selection of cocktails, the restaurant also invites guests to bring their own beverages. However, a $20 corkage fee does apply.

Inside, the restaurant’s ambiance gives way to a metallic-themed, dimly lit dining room with an outdoor patio that offers unbeatable views of Hollywood. The interior design of the eatery is as big on texture and appearance as the menu is.

The West Hollywood restaurant is open for dinner only. On Mondays, they’re open from 6 to 11pm, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 until 11:30pm and Thursday through Sunday from 6pm until 12:30am.

Reservations can be made through the website and are strongly encouraged.
