Imperial Hotel

In operation since 1890, the Imperial Hotel has a storied past, and is very much a part of three centuries of culture and history in Tokyo. The hotel has undergone several transformations during it’s lifetime, yet has remained a focal point for discerning international travelers and the Japanese elite. Originally constructed to service the influx of Western visitors and interests, today the grand lobby at the Imperial is a bustling meeting place for social gatherings and business affairs. While nothing in the hotel can match the scope of the lobby, the guest rooms and suites are quite large and opulent in their own right. The Imperial also serves up those little extras that connote luxury, such as fresh flowers in the rooms. With commanding views overlooking both the Imperial Palace and the lush Hibiya Park, the Imperial is well positioned to remain a special destination for the coming 120 years.
