Folklore

Founded in 2012 by Danielle and Rob Reid, Folklore is the London-based home and lifestyle boutique celebrate the effect quality design can have. Three basic principles – craftsmanship, simplicity, and integrity – have catapulted the Reids and Folklore to the forefront of the London home goods industry because Folklore only sells practical, functional products built to last. And though their online presence has grown rapidly, home for Folklore is still in London’s Islington neighborhood.

The Reids are also steadfast to selling products committed to serving humanity in some way; their products tackle some of today’s social and environmental challenges and give back to the communities they influence, either by using socially-conscious products, processes and materials, or by thinking about the communities their goods will impact the heaviest and creating sustainable long-term solutions for those issues.

Folklore sells a range of products – homewares including ceramics, cushions, blankets, kitchenwares, tablewares, and wallpaper; furniture, lighting, seating, tables and storage; and apothecary goods including desk, paper, storage, bags and magazines – to suit the needs of everyday life.
