East London Liquor Company
Helmed by master distiller Jamie Baxter, the East London Liquor Company hasn’t just brought liquor back to London’s east end – it’s brought back art, as well. Large glass paneled windows, original brickwork, a modest outdoors seating area and authentic German-crafted copper make Baxter’s new Victoria Park establishment the town’s biggest attraction.
Baxter and Alex Wolpert will oversee the production of three gin variations — tea, juniper berries and a classic London Dry – vodka and whiskey, all oak-aged for a minimum of three years and a day. But making the drinks won’t be the only thing the Easton London distillery does. Wolpert will lead tours throughout the distillery as well.
The East London Liquor Company is open Monday through Thursday from 10 am until 11:30 pm; on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am until midnight and on Sundays from noon until 11:30 pm.
