Bluebird Cafe, White City

For the past 20 years, there has only been one Blue Bird in London and it’s been a Chelsea classic ever since it opened. Now King’s Road’s most popular cafe & restaurant introduces its second Bluebird in White City.

If somehow you haven’t already heard of it, the Bluebird is one of the most famous eateries in Chelsea — most known for its Courtyard which is the perfect spot for people-watching, bumping into SW3 locals, and spotting reality TV stars. On a sunny day in London, there is nothing more ideal than sitting out there, sipping a bellini and enjoying the classic brunch. However if you want a more upscale experience it is provided via their upstairs cocktail bar and restaurant, which serves a modern Mediterranean menu.

The new Bluebird cafe will be no different in terms of quality and standard. Set over a 5,000 square foot site in White City, it will include a café, a bar, a deli and an outdoor terrace, bringing a little of the 1960s glamour of Chelsea to a new location. They have also brought in the executive Chef Simon Gregory who will be developing the new menu — a combination of the classic Bluebird dishes with his own twist. His specialities include a Butter Chicken curry, Yellow Fin Tuna, and Spiced King Prawns.

The Bluebird Cafe in White City opened its doors in April and we for one are very thankful it did before summer!
