Beacher’s Madhouse, Los Angeles

Beacher’s Madhouse in Los Angeles opened in 2010 as a members-only comedy, burlesque, music and karaoke house, featuring a different element of entertainment seven days a week, as well as variety shows every Wednesday through Saturday.

After signing a five-year contract at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Beacher’s Vaudeville-inspired theatre is a nod to Tinseltown’s iconic past and a look ahead at the future of 21st century of entertainment. At Beacher’s, the fun begins immediately when you walk in the door: Guests are led through a secret passageway through a library bookcase and immediately surrounded by personal snapshots of Mr. Beacher, arm-in-arm with Hollywood’s greatest during the 1900s.

The main showroom is a sight of its own: with a custom birdcage banquette reserved for VIPs, foot lights shaped like shells, gorgeous deep red velvet curtains and dim lighting reminiscent of a 20’s-themed speakeasy. VIP guests are granted access to a private underground garage, HD video screens, surround sound and a state of the art lighting and sound system.

And that’s all just leading up to the show. As advertised, Beacher’s promises a one-of-a-kind type of entertainment that cannot be duplicated or replicated anywhere else. It’s the crossroads of your wildest fantasy, a 70s freak show and a night out with the boys – and it’s all in one place.
