Wynn and Encore Named Best Vegas Hotels

Conde Nast Traveler readers took to the Internet to vote on the best Las Vegas hotels. At the top of the Traveler’s list, Vegas’s very own Wynn and Encore.

With a reader’s choice rating of 92.2, the nine-year-old black-and-gold tower is most loved for its “outstanding rooms,” floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase “amazing views” of the Strip below, an 18-hole golf course co-designed by the hotel’s namesake, Steve Wynn, and Tom Fazio.

Contrary to the idea that more is, well, more, in Vegas, Traveler readers admitted that the Wynn and Encore’s ability to feel like both a “small, intimate hotel” while still embodying all the typical lights and sounds of Vegas is one of the reasons the sister properties are so revered among guests.

The Palazzo was named number two, with a reader’s choice rating of 90.5 and honorable mention for their “well laid-out and appointed” rooms. Coming in at third was the Bellagio, with a 90.4 reader’s choice rating, namely for the Vegas staple’s five-star surroundings. With a 90.2 rating, the Mandarin Oriental took the fourth place position, with its elegant bamboo and bonsai gardens and one-of-a-kind key card access-only elevator system. Rounding out the top five is the Four Season Hotel, with a rating of 89.7 and unparalleled views of both the Strip and the desert.
