Universal Works: Uniquely Crafted Wear for Men

Spearheaded by David Keyte, Universal Works was born in 2008 and almost two years later, the brand celebrated the launch of their first Autumn Winter 2009 collection. Under the brilliance of Keyte, Universal Works strives to mix the great British clothing heritage with a modern, global feel that’s wearable, sustainable and affordable. Universal Works features a wide variety menswear: accessories, jackets, waistcoats, knitwear, shirts, shoes, tees and sweats and trousers and shorts. The online store even houses a small offering for women.

Keyte’s brand was born out of a love for street wear – one that he cultivated after stints as a sign writer, a coal miner and as an employee at Paul Smith and then later as an employee at Maharishi. Now, behind the Universal Works name, Keyte curates menswear that defies the trends and whims of the fashion industry and instead speaks directly to the personality of its owner.

Keyte, and Universal Works, trusts their customers. The brand celebrates a collection of clothing that offers utility and shape without overcomplicating the design. The universal appeal makes it a brand for every man.

Above all, it’s a brand with soul.
