Tribeca Film Festival 2005

Tribeca Film Festival Lineup

This year’s film festival, hosted from April 13 to April 24, will feature a tantalizing list of debut films and documentaries that highlight some of the most important discussions taking place in pop culture.

Founded in 2003 by actor Robert Di Nero, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff, Tribeca Enterprises’ mission is to provide artists with unique platforms to expand the audience for their works and to broaden the access point for consumers to experience independent film and media.

This year the festival will also host its inaugural Digital Creators Market and Special Screenings Program, which will mark the first-ever marketplace for digital and online content to connect online creators with industry individuals, including producers, agents, and buyers, and will also set a new standard for the creation, sale, and promotions of digital series and standalone content. 2016 also marks the festival’s first-ever tune-in program, dubbed the Tribeca Tune In, which is dedicated to TV and will feature six season premieres, three sneak peeks and season finales, three conversations, and four special events.

Abortion: Stories Women Tell, After Spring, All We Had, Custody, Broad City, We All We Got, O.J.: Made In America, Operator, and The Loner top the list of this year’s must-see shorts, TV debuts, and films at the festival.
