The Polo Bar: Ralph Lauren’s First NYC Restaurant

Ralph Lauren opened his first New York City restaurant just steps away from his Fifth Avenue flagship location. Featuring a unique design, casual yet refined décor, and classic menu fare, The Polo Bar encapsulates everything Lauren loves about gathering around the table for a meal with family and friends. After successful ventures in Chicago and Paris – the RL Grill and Ralph’s – the designer set aim on a restaurant in NYC.

Inspired by the classic New York energy, The Polo Bar is chic yet casual, with an exterior featuring a Henry Koehler polo match-inspired mural and an interior packed with equestrian artwork and saddle leather seating. An elegant wooden staircase, dark wood, and amber lighting round out the old-world charm of the establishment. The Polo Bar will feature what’s become the designer’s global calling card: distinguished sporting taste and lifelong style.

Rib eye steak, corned beef sandwiches, crab cakes, and a signature Polo Bar burger offer a as glimpse inside the menu, with beef sourced (when available) from Lauren’s 17,000-acre ranch in Colorado. The dessert menu will feature Ralph’s Coffee Ice Cream, made from Ralph’s custom coffee blend.
