Tesla Model S For Kids

After teaming up with Radio Flyer, Tesla is now marking their Model S to a new type of clientele: kids. The electric Model S for Kids is battery-operated mini car now available for pre-order and scheduled to ship in June 2016, according to TechCrunch.com. It comes with a 140 Wh lithium-ion battery pack and reaches a max speed of 6 miles per hour. (Parents also have the option to limit the speed to 3 mph.) Buyers can pay an extra $50 for a 190 Wh battery pack promising 50 percent more playtime.

The Tesla Model S For Kids is fully customizable: paint color, performance, accessories, and personalization are all up to the buyer. The car, which retails beginning at $599, boasts working headlights, a “spacious” interior (designed to fit “drivers” between 3-8 who weigh under 81 pounds), and a sound system.
