Secret Solstice’s $1 Million Festival Ticket

Reykjavik’s Secret Solstice festival will offer a party of up to six friends what they’re touting as “the ultimate festival extravaganza.” For just $1 million — roughly £700,000 — the trip begins with private-jet transfers on Gulfstream G300s or similar aircrafts to the festival in Iceland’s capital. And it doesn’t matter where the travels hail from, either; winners will be picked up from any destination in the world. Once at the festival, the winners will have the unique opportunity to go backstage with some of the performers, including Skream, Radiohead, and Róisín Murphy. But that’s not all.

The Telegraph notes that Iceland’s Blue Lagoon geothermal pool will be reserved for the $1 million-ticket holders’ exclusive use for one evening during their stay, as will a helicopter tour and a subsequent private plane tour, which will offer the ticket holders an exclusive tour of the country’s unique landscape and stunning natural landmarks. The $1 million ticket winners will also enjoy a private lava field concert, as well as admittance to the inaugural Inside The Volcano event — a private performance that takes place deep inside the core of the Thrihnukagigur volcano.

2016 marks the first year that the festival will offer guests a $1 million ticket. The Secret Solstice line-up features Radiohead, Of Mice and Men, Deftones, Die Antwood, Jamie Jones, St Germain, Action Bronson, Glowie, Slow Magic, and dozens more. The show takes place June 16 through June 19, and ticketing information as well as travel FAQs can be found online.
