Northern Grade – American Goods From City to City

The traveling pop-up menswear market, Northern Grade, travels from city to city, supplying consumers with original brands founded and made in the USA. Produced by Mac and Katherine McMillian – the founders of Pierrepont Hicks – Northern Grade dubbed itself a “market by a brand for the brands” and though they specialize in domestic-made goods, the traveling market regularly brings on select brands from other regions as well.

Their goal is to make the quality goods produced on a small scale available to the mass market, without sacrificing brand integrity. So far, it’s working. Thankfully, if you’re not in the host city during the pop-up market Northern Grade will actually sell products online for customers around the globe so that they can get their hands on the locally made goods indigenous to every city.

Look for Northern Grade in Chicago on October 18 and 19 and Minneapolis on November 8. In 2015, the market will head across international waters, stopping in Moscow in early February and touching down in Tokyo a few months later.
