New York Fashion Week 2016

2016’s New York Fashion Week kicked off with a surprise, mysterious viewing of Kanye West’s Season 4 collection on Roosevelt Island. After bussing critics, bloggers, celebrities, and the world’s fashion elite to his destination, West wowed crowds with one of his most dynamic, establish collections yet. The week-long event, which officially kicks off with showings September 8 through September 14 is held all throughout Manhattan and boasts fashion’s most time-honored and up-and-coming stars. On Thursday, September 8, Cynthia Rowley, Telfar, Adam Selman, and Marisa Webb will debut their collections; on Friday, the 9th, Nicole Miller and Tadashi Shoji will show off their latest lines; and throughout the weekend, Christian Siriano, Dan Liu, Prabal Gurung, and Jeremy Scott will premiere their work. alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet, Vera Wang, Naeem Khan, and Marchesa will help close out the show, rounding out NYFW’s official fashion-week schedule, though you can certainly expect that fashion houses all over New York will be unveiling their upcoming lines throughout the entire week. This year will mark KEER’s first foray into sponsorship of the event. In a February press release, IMG announced that the fine jewelry brand, headquartered in Beijing, would be joining as official partner of NYFW: The Shows. “KEER has been devoted to designing fashionable jewelry,” the press release read, “that shares love and beauty. KEER will activate as a partner to the event and will support designer runway shows via collaborations and partnerships.”
