If you have any familiarity with the NYC culinary landscape, David Chang immediately comes to mind as one of the most successful and innovative young restauranteurs in the business. Momofuku Ssam Bar, in the East Village, is Chang’s latest creation and has people lining up daily for his creative dishes, prepared perfectly from carefully sourced ingredients. Another way to think about Ssam Bar, when food critic Frank Bruni of the New York Times has only glowing words to write in his review, it’s obvious Chang must be doing it right.
