Milan Fashion Week F/W 2017

Capping off an exciting winter season of high fashion and thrilling new trends, the third of the “Big Four,” Milan Fashion Week, runs from February 22 through February 28 before the final leg of the international fashion show heads for Paris. When it came to menswear, Giorgio Armani closed out the week-long festivities by debuting a F/W 2017 collection “putting texture from and center” through “velvet jackets and pants, shearling trims and fur coats, and jacquard scarves in tandem with a parade of fine tailored suits.”

This year, Gucci will open up the show on its inaugural day, boasting a unisex runway featuring both men’s and women’s wear by Alessandro Michele, and collections from Max Mara, Emilio Pucci, Prada, Moschino, Versace, Emporia Armani, Giamba, Bottega Veneta, Missoni, Salvatore Ferragamo, and more will showcase throughout the weekend. Much like he did when it came to the menswear fashion week, Armani will help close out the show this year on Tuesday, February 28. Also showing throughout the duration of fashion week is the “Manolo Blahnik: The Art of Shoes” retrospective, featuring 212 of Blahnik’s favorite styles. The retrospective will be held at the 18th-century Palazzo Morando throughout April 9.
