Michael Jordan’s Chicago Home Hits the Market

Got a basketball jones? The legendary Michael Jordan is selling his Chicago mansion next week – and it’s going to the highest bidder.

The 56,000 square foot property has nine bedrooms, fifteen bathrooms, a well-stocked fitness room, home theatre and a regulation-size NBA-quality basketball court, comfortably tucked away on seven acres of well-manicured landscape. The home itself is contemporary and modern and welcoming, with cultured architectural touches evident from room-to-room.

The $29 million dollar home, which held the legendary Bulls star for 19 years, sits above a hidden cigar and card room with a custom-built, walk-in wine cellar – voluminous enough to accommodate 500 bottles of red, white and rose – as well as a wine tasting room and an unmatched in-house beauty salon. Parallel to the house and pool rests a three-bedroom guest wing with en suite restrooms, kitchen and access to outside tennis courts and putting greens.

The seven-acre wood is gated with an iconic “23” inscribed into the front gates, no doubt Jordan’s own Midas touch.
