Land Rover Celebrates 65 Years with Special Edition Defender LXV

Land Rover Defender is an iconic vehicle whose rough-and-tumble reputation has been well earned over the decades. Engineered to perform in the most challenging conditions, and constructed with rock solid materials, it’s no surprise that the Defender has been a preferred choice for professional explorers, everyday commuters, and increasingly collectors. The first year of production was 1948, and to commemorate it’s 65th anniversary, Land Rover has created a special limited edition of the Defender, appropriately called the LXV. You can check out some of the details in this Motor Authority post, and with a little luck you might be able to get your hands on one. With nearly two-thirds of Land Rovers still in operation after six decades, there’s a good chance your Defender LXV will be around for generations to come.
