Jaguar’s Lasting Legacy

Built entirely by Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations team, the Lightweight E-type pays homage to the legacy brand’s vibrant past and colorful future. Six E-type cars were built piece by piece by a dedicated team in Jaguar Heritage and they’ll go to six lucky customers.

Originally developed as a testament to the brand’s commitment to aluminum construction, these six select E-types depict modern iterations of the originals. As Wallpaper puts it, these six cars are an “authentic new chapter in the E-type story” But the legacy E-type cars aren’t the only venture Special Vehicle Operation has planned.

Jaguar Heritage, Wallpaper reports, is also in the works, hand-making cars at Jaguar’s historic Browns Lane site. They’ll do so, most likely, with the help of an inner circle of collectors, deep pockets and small workshops known for their precise attention to detail.
