Helmut Newton’s Forgotten Polaroids

Assembled by Helmut Newton’s surviving widow, June, the late fashion photographer’s last polaroid collection is finally available for purchase. The one-of-a-kind test images – capturing his most enchanting shots from the seventies, eighties, and nineties – offer a never-before-seen peek into the iconic photographer’s creative process.

On shelves this month, “Helmut Newton. Polariods” reveals the photographer’s extensive pool of test images, including shots from Milan all the way to St. Tropez. Of the forgotten collection, V Magazine noted, “A picture maybe worth a thousand words, but rarities such as these are priceless.”

The 224-page book is available for purchase via TASCHEN Books for roughly $30 USD.
