Beyond the flashing lights, nonstop neon, and endless parades of pretty girls, “Club Life” seeks to answer a question nearly everyone has asked at one point or anything: Why promoters? The film, starring Jerry Ferrara, focuses on Ferrara’s character Johnny D.’s response to his family’s financial burden; after his dad suffers a stroke, who will pay the bills, and more importantly, where will the money come from?

Though the club scene is rife with up-and-comers who’ll turn a quick buck, what’s the club life like beyond the glitz, glamour and grandeur of nightlife? “Club Life” aims to find out. The film is set for release at the end of May 2015.
