Clayoquot Wilderness Reserve

Clayoquot Wilderness Reserve, a short, 45-minute ride from Vancouver, has solidified itself as one of Canada’s most popular honeymoon destinations. Opened in 1999, the remote retreat has served as the summit of rest and relaxation for guests – but since the opening of the Clayoquot Wilderness Reserve Cloud Camp, couples have renewed reason to make the trek north.

Standing at the tip of Ursus Mountain, the camp, accessible only by helicopter, provides guests with panorama views of the glacial mountains and lush forests hugging the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve. The Telegraph notes couples are provided a chef and tour guide for their one-night trip – and a stay at the Cloud Camp is only available if guests have already booked three-, four- or seven-night stays at the Clayoquot basecamp.

Twenty luxury tents make up the all-inclusive, eco-resort, which opens annually from May to September, and a stay at Cloud Camp is ideal for couples looking to enjoy activity-led holidays.
