Developed in Firenze, Italy centuries ago, Calcio Storico is a game that’s more physical and hard-hitting than rugby, soccer, American football, boxing and MMA fighting combined. Players divided into four teams (red, white, blue and green that represent different parts of the city) punch, kick, scrape and run their way through the city to victory.

The sport, known conversationally as Calcio Storico Fiorentino, is hailed as the most enthralling and thrilling sport of our generation, reserved for only the toughest gladiators.

A sneak peek of the tournament (resuming next June) promises all the drama, physicality and strength of previous battles.
