Before Your Book Your Next Trip: Meet the Hotel ‘It’ List

Travel + Leisure released their definitive ranking of the 70 best hotels around the globe, much to the excitement and delight of travelers and jetsetters alike.

The list, which includes up-and-coming lodging and veteran real estate, spans from Aruba to Abu Dhabi and covers every ounce of ground in between. Listed for their comforts, amenities and breathtaking views, Travel + Leisure searched far beyond the typical tropical haunts to bring readers a modern, up-to-date and accurate representation of the leading hotels. The 70 properties were also categorized according to price, denoted by a $ for stays averaging less than $200 a night and $$$$$, which mean you’d see fares above $1,000.

To give you a taste of the ranking villas on the list, Amanoi in Vinh Hy Bay, Vietnam was named Beach Resort 2.0, while Dunton Hot Springs in Cresto Ranch, Colorado was named the Remote Outpost. The Arts Boutique Hotel B in Lima, Peru was named a Neighborhood Game Changer for its 17-room gem, which features Latin American contemporary works and sits next door to the legendary Lucia de la Puente Gallery. In Hong Kong, the Mira Moon Hotel was named a High-Design Haven thanks to the interior design wizardry of Marcel Wanders, while the ME in London received the Urban Trendsetter hotel for its nine-story, white marble-lined pyramid-inspired atrium.
