An Exclusive Preview of What’s Happening in July
The summer season is officially upon us and with it an assortment of events you don’t want to miss.
The 2014 Fifa World Cup, which started in early June, is finally in the knockout round, culminating later this month with a match between the two remaining teams. July is also a huge month for polo, with the Mercedez Benz Polo Championship taking place on the 19th, the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Final taking place a day later on the 20th and the Audi International Polo “The Westchester Cup” happening on the 26th.
Beginning at the end of the month, the Longines Royal International Horse Show kicks off on July 29th and lasts into the first weekend of August; while the Newport Folk Festival and the Splendour In The Grass festival take place simultaneously on July 25th to the 27th, albeit across the globe from one another.
